Forty-five minutes in a waiting room. Fifteen minutes with a therapist. Working with a different therapist or an aide each session. A packet of exercises you could have found online. You deserve more than that.
Roaming Rehab brings licensed physical and occupational therapy directly to your door. In the comfort of your home, 1-on-1, with one therapist dedicated entirely to you from start to finish.
What Is Concierge Physical Therapy?
Concierge physical therapy is a direct-access model: a licensed physical therapist comes to your home rather than requiring you to travel to a clinic. No crowded waiting rooms, no double-booked appointment slots, no 15-minute treatment sessions that leave you feeling rushed and uncertain. Just you, your therapist, and the full session your recovery actually requires.
The term "concierge" in healthcare describes a personalized, high-access model. Applied to physical therapy, it means your therapist comes to you, sessions run their full duration, and you work with the same therapist every visit. That continuity of care is a defining feature and a meaningful clinical advantage: your therapist tracks your progress visit to visit, in the environment where you actually live and move.
You may also hear this model called mobile physical therapy, in-home physical therapy, or direct-access physical therapy. The terminology varies. The commitment stays the same: full-attention, in-home care from a licensed clinician.
- In-home, 1-on-1, personalized care
- Scheduling built around your life
- Full-duration sessions with your licensed PT or OT, start to finish
- The same therapist at every visit, tracking your progress firsthand
- A patient-centered, fitness-forward plan built around your specific goals
- Direct access in most cases, no physician referral required

303-720-4244 Schedule AppointmentHow Concierge Therapy Differs from Traditional Clinic PT
Traditional outpatient PT operates in a clinic with multiple patients scheduled simultaneously, sessions billed in 15-minute increments, and a licensed therapist who may supervise while an aide does much of the hands-on work. Concierge PT takes a different approach across nearly every dimension.
| Traditional Clinic PT | Concierge PT with Roaming Rehab | |
|---|---|---|
| Location | You travel to a fixed clinic | Your PT comes to your home |
| Session Format | Often shared with other patients; aide-assisted portions | One therapist, one patient, throughout the entire session |
| Scheduling | Clinic hours only, limited availability | Monday through Friday by appointment, built around your life |
| Session Length | Typically 30 to 45 minutes | Full duration, one-on-one with your licensed therapist |
| Referral Required | Often requires a physician referral | Direct access available in most cases |
| Continuity | Therapist rotation is common in high-volume clinics. Bounced to assistants or aides to complete session. | Same therapist at every visit, tracking your progress directly. No assistants or aides used. |
| Travel and Wait | Significant, especially for patients with mobility limitations | Eliminated |
Traditional clinic PT is still the right fit when specialized equipment is essential to your care. For most patients, the concierge model delivers more of what matters: continuity, undivided attention, and care in the environment where you actually live. We can do anything in your environment with modifications that matter compared to the services provided in a clinic.
Who Benefits Most from Concierge Physical Therapy?
We cater to adults who value their health and want to improve their quality of life. Together, we will work to overcome the obstacles that may prevent you from remaining independent and pursuing your normal daily routine. You may be the right fit.
Busy Professionals
You have a packed schedule. Driving to a clinic, waiting, and driving back costs hours you don't have. Your session comes to you, fits into your day, and gets you back on track without disrupting the rest of it.
Active Adults and Families
Whether you are chasing toddlers, staying active on weekends, or recovering from a sports injury, life doesn't pause for clinic hours. We come to you so your recovery fits around your life, not the other way around.
Post-Surgery Recovery
Surgery changes your mobility. Traveling to a clinic is a real burden during recovery. In-home PT brings care directly to you and lets your therapist assess the actual spaces where you live and move.

Continuity of Care
The same therapist, every visit. No handoffs, no starting over, no lost context. Your therapist knows where you started and tracks every step of your progress firsthand.
Aging at Home
Aging does not mean weakness. Aging does not mean falling. Aging does not mean giving up the activities you love. We work with you to stay mobile, independent, and fully engaged in your life.
What to Expect from a Roaming Rehab Session
Your therapist arrives at your home with everything needed for your session. Your initial evaluation includes a comprehensive assessment of your movement, strength, range of motion, and functional limitations. From there, you and your therapist build an individualized plan of care together, with specific goals and a realistic timeline. Treatment starts day 1 during your evaluation. We get right to work towards accomplishing YOUR goals.
Every session after that is structured around your plan, updated continuously as you progress. Your therapist tracks each visit directly, adjusting your program in real time. Your care moves at the pace your recovery demands.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in and clear a space large enough for basic movement. Your therapist will walk you through everything else at your first appointment. We've seen it all and will check out your space to determine the best place for you to work on your goals.

Why Roaming Rehab for Concierge Physical Therapy?
Roaming Rehab was built on a single premise: physical therapy should come to you, not the other way around.
Our goal is to get you back to doing what you love, faster and stronger than before. We are excited to push past your limits and show you what you are truly capable of. Whether your goal is getting back on the field, keeping up with your kids, returning to the trails, or simply moving through your day without pain, we are here for YOU.
We specialize in balance, strength training, and improving overall physical function. Strength is independence. A body in motion stays in motion. We will help you unlock your potential.
Dry needling available at your session. Many of our licensed PTs are trained in dry needling, a technique that uses fine monofilament needles to target trigger points, release muscle tension, and reduce pain. Ask about availability when you schedule and we will match you with a therapist trained in the technique.

303-720-4244 Schedule AppointmentFrequently Asked Questions About Concierge Physical Therapy
Concierge physical therapy is a direct-access care model in which a licensed physical therapist delivers one-on-one treatment at the patient's home rather than in a traditional clinic setting. The model provides full-duration sessions without aide supervision and ensures continuity by using the same therapist for every visit.
The primary differences are location, format, and attention. In a traditional clinic, you travel to a fixed facility, may share session time with other patients, and often see a physical therapy assistant or aide for portions of your visit. With concierge PT, your therapist comes to your home, the session is one-on-one for its full duration, and scheduling is built around your availability.
In Colorado, you can access physical therapy directly without a physician referral, a model called direct access. Despite not needing a referral to start, we will communicate with your surgeon, primary care provider, and/or medical team. If you are unsure whether your situation requires a referral, contact us before booking and we can advise.
Roaming Rehab treats conditions across all age groups and activity levels. Many of our licensed physical therapists are trained in dry needling. The technique uses fine monofilament needles to target myofascial trigger points, release tight muscle tissue, and reduce pain. Home health physical and occupational therapy is a specific level of care most commonly ordered following a hospitalization. It is billed under Medicare Part A inpatient benefits, and patients must typically meet homebound criteria to qualify. We bring clinical-quality, one-on-one care directly to your home with none of the restrictions tied to a home health designation. Home health is designed to help patients function safely within the home. We are focused on helping you stay active, independent, and fully engaged in the life you want to live.
